Sigmat awarded second residential scheme with Kavannagh Construction & Elevate Property Group
Following a successful landmark project at Heaton House, Sigmat have been awarded a key second project with Kavannagh & Elevate Property Group. The 'Imperial House' project will deliver a 60-unit residential block in Solihull. The lightweight credentials of LGSF proved a winning factor due to the need to reduce loads over existing car park.
The Sigmat team are projected to deliver a total GIFA 4315m2 linear metres of Sigmat panels across the 5-storey development and 2200 linear metre lift shaft. Due to commence on site early Autumn 2022 for an estimated 17-week programme.
Nick Munday, Business Development Manager at Sigmat, commented "We were thrilled with how the project at Heaton House went, and really delighted to be working collaboratively with the teams at Kavannagh Construction and Elevate on this second key project. The lightweight credentials of LGSF, coupled with the sustainable nature, has demonstrated how LGSF can benefit a weight-restricted site."
"We really enjoyed working with Sigmat on the Heaton House project and are delighted to be working with the team again on the upcoming 'Imperial House'. Realising the benefits of MMC, and in particular LGSF, we are pleased with the lightweight nature of the structure, along with the programme speed and surety." James Costello, Development Director at Elevate Property Group.
