The team at EOS Framing are celebrating unprecedented success with the announcement that all seven of the light steel innovators’ entries have been shortlisted in the Offsite Awards across five categories. Dominating the Best Use of Steel category, three of the ten finalists are EOS projects.
Managing Director Steve Thompson said of this success: "Last month we received the news that we have reached the finals of the Construction News Specialists Awards, EOS has just gained BOPAS Accreditation and now this exceptional result in the Offsite Awards. Reaching the finals of such prestigious awards is not only down to our advanced light steel framing systems approach but the combined technical ability of the EOS and wider Etex team.
“We are extremely privileged to work on some ground-breaking projects that clearly resonate with judging panels and our recent product innovations are receiving great acclaim. Our range of Thrubuild®, Thruwall® and Pre-Assembled Frames (PAF) have been developed to eliminate uncertainty surrounding the design and specification of the external envelope. All components and products in the systems have been rigorously tested together for fire, acoustic, weathering, airtightness, durability and mechanical performance. Fire resistance periods of 60, 90 and 120 minutes are achievable. Already being acknowledged for not only increasing the quality and speed of build, these systems also deliver performance guarantees backed by a 30-year warranty.”
