Our approach to offsite manufacture and modern methods of construction covers a diverse range of sectors and locations. In 2018 we worked on over 1.8bn worth of projects featuring offsite manufactured components. Our solutions range from steel framing systems, precast concrete and engineered timber, to fully volumetric units such as classrooms and bathroom pods, as well as MEP modules.
Acting as project integrator, we work with our supply chain specialists to explore the most appropriate solutions for our client's needs from the full spectrum of offsite technologies available. We specify light steel framing systems for a wide range of building types, from schools and hospitals to hotels and commercial offices.
In 2019 Kier won 'Offsite Pioneer of the Year' at the Offsite Construction Awards, for our innovative approach to encouraging more wide-spread adoption of modern methods of construction.
