Taking a safety-first approach, the Vantage® Secret Fix-Full System (SF-FS) is tried and tested as a unitised solution and supplied as a complete kit of parts incorporating the external rainscreen facade, external boarding, light steel framing system, insulation, fire retardant membranes and internal boarding.
Harnessing the Collective Power of Industry-Leading Experts Developed by BTS in collaboration with Etex Group partners EOS and Siniat, together with Siderise, DuPont, Knauf Insulation and SFS and Nvelope - the system is believed to be the first in the UK to have successfully completed two large scale testing regimes in accordance with the most recent BS8414-2:2020 standard. Tested in Belfast for fire performance by UKAS-accredited laboratory Efectis UK and Ireland – Vantage® SF-FS successfully conforms to all stringent criteria for both internal and external spread of flame, as well as mechanical failure.
This provides not only technical credibility but notably automatic approval for BR135 / AD.B.B4 of Building Regulations making compliance and approval easier to achieve. Importantly for designers and specifiers – certified assurance is now a pre-requisite for many tender opportunities, giving the new Vantage® Secret Fix-Full System a commercial advantage.
A robust testing protocol was seen as an essential part of the product development strategy to not only gain a specification advantage in the open market but also to demonstrate technical prowess to a wider construction audience at a time when building safety performance is under rigorous interrogation.

The Vantage® SF-FS product innovation adds real value by treating the external wall as a single item, delivering a complete ‘through-wall’ system as a fully tested and compliant package. This adds a new dimension to delivering performance assured, tried, tested and certified building envelopes. Taking the full external wall build from the construction site into controlled factory conditions delivers predictability of performance, programme and costs. The speed and accuracy achieved cannot be replicated using traditional construction methods. Contractors can shave months off build schedules which in turn reduces financing costs and shortens the period of construction liability.
