Light Gauge Steel Frame giants
Sigmat have signed a deal with continuous improvement experts RED Jam to launch a bespoke version of Field View across the business.
Leeds based Sigmat, who are the UK market leaders in the design, manufacture and construction of LGSF structures, said the project forms part of their overall sustainability plan and will concentrate on efficient business management.
RED Jam, who have a strong track record in driving efficiencies and eliminating duplication for complex construction based businesses will be implementing Field View across the business with a particular focus on onsite activities.
Sigmat’s Construction Director Paul Smith said: ‘We are 100% committed to maintaining our position as market leaders within the LGSF market, so working with the team from RED Jam to improve our existing processes was an obvious next step. We realised the potential applications for Field View within the business and are looking forward to implementing the software, streamlining our processes and taking our onsite operations to the next level.’
RED Jam, who have already delivered similar projects for a number of leading firms including Barratt Homes and RED Systems say the project will centre around reviewing and simplifying existing processes on site, eliminating unnecessary duplication whilst driving efficiencies and improving quality across the business.
RED Jam Director Andy Almey said: ‘I am really excited to be working alongside Sigmat supporting them with the implementation of the field view software, I am confident that focusing on simplifying their existing processes while removing any unnecessary steps will drive significant efficiencies within their operation and increase their competitive advantage’
