McCarthy Stone: Modern Methods of Construction

Last week the Exec team and main Board visited the McCarthy Stone construction site in Failsworth, Oldham, the first scheme to bring together Modern Methods of Construction with our Older Persons Shared Ownership offering (OPSO) to provide a low cost home ownership solution for the town's retirees.

The new offering at Sydney Grange will enable a much wider group of retirees to move into a retirement community and access all the benefits that it can bring.

The board were hosted by Martin Brown and Peter Forsyth, and joined by our MMC partners Sigmat. The day included a site tour, where the group heard about the positive market response and our future plans for the product offering.
