Drone Shots Show Dramatic Progress At Lytton Way

Work is progressing at Stanta's project with Hill Partnerships in Stevenage, with recent photos, including drone shots, showing the scale of the development.

The Icon development on Lytton Way is replacing a former commercial space with apartment buildings that will provide up to 576 new homes.

Stanta's work on the project includes the installation of the steel frame infill wall system with Benx Facades Densglass Boards, Coverock Insulation, Hadley Group Brick Channel, OBEX UK EPDM, Visqueen Cavity Trays, and NorDan UK windows and doors.

Lytton Way is located close to Stevenage Old Town, New Town and the railway station. The project involves the construction of seven buildings, with open green spaces and public areas. The buildings range from seven to 16 storeys and include studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments available for affordable rent, private rental and market sale.

The buildings have been designed to create three brick-led styles that respond to the site's conditions. Tall, slender sections act as visual markers for the Old and New Towns, while smaller blocks create connected areas with a central green space for children's play.

Lytton Way's location supports Stevenage's transport system, pedestrian paths and cycling routes, and is within a five-minute walk of the town centre.
