Leading offsite construction membership body BUILDOFFSITE (BOS)
has announced it will be partnering with Offsite Expo for this year’s event.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, BOS
is today continuing to be the principal and trusted voice of the industry in
the world of offsite construction and has members based in the UK, but also in
Europe, Asia and North America.
Building on these international connections, BOS will co-host
the Offsite Summit at Offsite Expo, focusing on international best practice on
day one of the event and showcasing their own activities on day two.
Dirk Vennix, Executive Director of BUILDOFFSITE, said he was
delighted to be collaborating with the event.

“This expo has regularly exhibited the best of the offsite
construction industry, so to be able to highlight the international expertise of
BOS members and other key stakeholders is very exciting.
“There has been a great amount of change in the offsite
construction sector in the 20 years since BUILDOFFSITE was launched and Offsite
Expo being the biggest showcase for the offsite industry is the ideal platform
to demonstrate that change and future innovations and ideas.”
As well as the collaboration with BOS, this year’s event
will also feature networking opportunities, with nearly 5,000 construction
professionals attending over the two days and custom-built features and live
demos showcasing a broad spectrum of panelised, volumetric systems, pod and
prefabricated MEP solutions.
Amy Pryce, Event Director for Offsite Expo added: “We are
extremely pleased to have BOS join us for this year’s event, especially in
light of their 20th anniversary and the increased focus on
international offsite knowledge transfer.
“BOS will be joining many other industry partners at this
year’s event, including the Light Steel Frame Association (LSFA), Modular and
Portable Building Association (MPBA), Structural Timber Association (STA),
Steel Construction Institute (SCI) and the Concrete Centre.
“All of these partners will come together to make Offsite
Expo the largest and most comprehensive offsite construction event in the UK.”
First held in 2019, the Offsite Expo is a free to attend
exhibition, with an embedded seminar programme, highlighting the best of the
offsite construction industry.
Attendees will also be able to take advantage of the
expertise and knowledge of more than 150 offsite manufacturers and suppliers and
hear from more than 100 speakers in the Explore Offsite CPD Masterclasses, as
well as free consultations with offsite experts. BOS members will be offered a
10% discount on exhibition rates.
There will also be a dedicated Offsite Connect buyers and specifiers
forum, with more than 100 construction industry professionals participating.
And lastly Offsite Expo will celebrate the very best in
offsite construction, at the Offsite Construction Awards on 17 September.
